Hello. My name is Jessica Suarez. I am 27. I live in Brooklyn via Tucson, Arizona.

I mostly write about music. My first bit of entertainment writing was an interview with Michael Ian Black that I wrote for my self-produced zine about The State when I was 13 years old. It also included a review of the first Cake Like album, and a list of my top 8 movies. Number one was Speed.

Since then I have worked as an editor/writer at CMJ New Music Monthly, Pitchfork Media, and Paper Thin Walls.

Interests: superhero / fantasy films, opening nights, nerds, Harry Potter trivia, GTD, funeral customs, etiquette rules, Filipino game shows, religious cults.
